At Pint Fest 2.0, Enjoy 3 Hours of Free Flow Craft Beers
Craft beer lovers in Singapore should mark their calendars for Sunday 24 November 2024, when the folks behind Smith Street Taps and friends return to present Pint Fest at the Chimichanga Vivocity outlet. From 3 to 6 p.m. that day, you get to sample nine different beers from five breweries and revisit the ones you like–as often as you can handle them!
Why Go to Pint Fest 2.0?
At Pint Fest, you’ll get an up-close encounter with beers from breweries that have gained a cult following among connoisseurs locally and abroad. Each brings its own style, expressed through their brewing techniques and the distinct blend of flavours.
As we often say, there’s a beer for everyone’s taste –if someone says they don’t like beer they just haven’t the one for them. The line-up at Pint Fest will ensure varied and memorable tasting experience. Whether you want something clean and simple, bright and fruity, or absolutely decadent, they’ve got you covered, and there will be food and live music too.
New beers and prizes on offer
If you went to the first Pint Fest (thank you for your support!), you might be wondering what’s worth returning for. Of the beers on offer, only the lager makes a reappearance, with three fruit smoothie sours now on offer. And if you love bananas, you’re in for a treat because two of them and the stout feature this fruit in different ways.
What’s also new is the chance to win a $50 Chimichanga dining voucher and a mixed four-pack of beers from the distributors representing these breweries when you vote for your favourite! You can also get
What’s on offer at Pint Fest
The five breweries that will be taking part in Pint Fest are One Drop (Australia), Rocky Ridge (Australia), Super Bueno (Singapore), Vault City (Scotland) and Yonder (England), and these are what they’ll be pouring.
Brewery | Beer | Style | ABV (%) | Description |
---|---|---|---|---|
One Drop | Kilowatt | Smoothie Sour | 6.8 | This sour is given the Liquid Cream treatment with blackcurrant, passionfruit, and banana purees with a big splurge of silky coconut cream added after fermentation, all topped off with a honey-lemon coulis drizzle. |
Rocky Ridge | Cheat Day | Imperial Pastry Stout | 8.5 | Inspired by the legendary banoffee pie from Butter Crumbs in Perth. Caramelised malts form a rich base, topped with luscious banana, gooey caramel fudge, and a drizzle of maple syrup. |
Super Bueno | Mexican Lager | Lager | 4.5 | A crisp, light and refreshing lager infused with makrut lime and sea salt. Available on draft exclusively in all Chimichanga and Chimi’s outlets in Singapore. |
Vault City | Staggeringly Stoopid: Blue Hawaiian | Smoothie Sour | 6.8 | A collaboration brewed with Staggeringly Good inspired by Blue Hawaiian cocktails. Jam-packed with ripe banana, juicy pineapple, coconut cream, and spirulina. |
Yonder | Boozy Smoothie | Smoothie Sour | 6.0 | A thick pulpy number brewed with kilos of silky mango, sweet peach, juicy pear, and sour red cherry for that extra something-something. |
I know I mentioned there would be nine beers. Well, these breweries are providing four mystery IPAs in a blind tasting. Who knows whether they will be hazy and fruity, piney and crisp, or even double or triple IPAs?
There’s no set order that you have to drink these beers in. You can start with the crisp and bitter beers first and finish with the roasty stouts or the sweet and sour ones. You could use those as palate fresheners instead, even if they are so much better than that. It’s entirely up to you at Pint Fest 2.0!
Got no idea what those styles mean? Check out the guide to craft beer.

How much does Pint Fest cost?
Pre-event tickets go for $69 for one, or $130 for two. At the door, they will be $75. Assuming you try every beer, that’s as little as $7.22 per drink on average–and we’re talking about craft beer brewed with insane levels of costly ingredients. And that includes the take-home glassware that comes with your ticket and 10% discount on Chimichanga’s Mexican food and beverage menu.
Tickets can be purchased through chimichanga.sg/pintfest. Go try some great beer, meet some wicked craft beer afficionados, and enjoy yourself! And when you are done, there are plenty of places to try more of the breweries’ offerings on the Singapore Craft Beer Map.
